Need help sr20de engine wont stay on

I HAVE A JDM SR20DE ROLLER ROCKER ENGINE AND I RECENTLY PURCHASED IT SO I DONT KNOW WHAT IT HAS. THE PROBLEM IS IT STARTS UP FINE AND WHEN I REV IT UP IT JUST CHOKES AND TURNS OFF AND IT HAS A STRONG GASOLINE SMELL .IVE TRIED ABOUT EVERYTHING TO SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT SO I NEED HELP PLEASE LET ME KNOW WITH ANY INFO U GUYS MIGHT HAVE THANKS.

make sure the fuel lines are not swapped

I had a similar problem.turn knob for iacv and see if that works.if not check and clean iacv .open the hood while its running see if your inj are leaking
