My pedal is tooo soft, it takes forever for it to come back up between shifts, im use to my hydro trannys. Is there anyway for me to adjust the pedal for it to pop up faster. plus i need to adjust it so that i dont have to cram it into the floor to start up the car blah

Adjusting the cable properly will make it return normally, and you will no longer have to jam it into the floor to release the clutch.

You have a text book under-tightened clutch cable.

Spend the money on a good oem one from nissan....not a parts store. Its worth it! Read everything you can find about that brass reducer trick and do it! It was a HUGE help to me. Make sure to get the washer for the back of the reducer so it doesn't wear away the rubber boot on the cable.

Usually people are searching for ways to make it soft. The softer the more comfortable. These cables have a tendancy to get dirt and moisture in them. This past week mine got so stiff, it would not return. Tons of silicone spray and white lube later, it is butter soft, and feels better than new. You should have seen the crap that flowed out of it.

just spray the lube inside the black insulation that the metal cable itself runs through. You'll have to remove the cable to do this properly since one end has to be above the other so the lube flows. You can buy specific cable grease from a motorcycle shop, but its really over priced. Just use the lube Pretty White used.
