B14 Harness Differences
Is there anyone that can account for any differences between the 1996 vs. 1997 SE-R engine harness? I've tried searching a few different terms but don't seem to come up with any info to put my question to rest.

I think 1995-1997 are the same and 98 - 99 is when they came with the RR motor but don't know if the harness is different :/

The 98-99 is not a roller rocker, it just has more emission crap.

I know about more emissions for 1998 and 1999 SR20's but just was curious if the cusp of the change from production dates on some 1997 cars started to account for this in wiring. I guess I may just need to look up wiring diagrams to be sure.

I did a write up on g20.net a few months back on how to eliminate emissions components on 99 P11's. The same concept will apply to what you are asking.

The intake manifold would have the extra hoses if it did. Also the plugs for the body connections by the ECU are different on the 98-99s. The plug has a lot more pins, easily seen without taking anything apart.

you are correct that the 98-99 did not have LSD, but LSD has nothing to do with the wiring.
