Did you hook up all the hoses?

+1 also check the wires on your MAF, you may have forgotten to plug something back in if anything. Did you touch anything else?

X2 on both accounts. Although I'm leaning more towards the MAF plug issue.

No I plugged everything de checked it too..I disconnected the battery so the ecu could re start cuz I heard it'll do that since its not used to too much air flow

No reason this should happen unless you have some hoses that aren't hooked up or unmetered air entering the motor after the maf.

Check over everything again. Make sure the maf plug is pushed all the way into the connector. No way the maf goes bad from swapping an intake pipe unless something went seriously wrong.

Apparently the maf was upside down.common sense told me the Nissan letters go right side up..but now I can't use it as a short ram..maybe a mini adapter??

The adapter that at the end of the maf is a little to big for the cone..unless I squeeze it in there.wouldn't. That cause a disturbance in the air flow?

hmm, maybe it would, but not to the extent that it would make your car bog/die (I think?). Did you happen to take apart the MAF or even accidently stick something in the small hole there the hotwire is at?
