Thread: 98 200sx sr20ve swap ?

ok im doing a swap on my 98 200sx from a 1.6 to 2.0 sr20ve. now i was told to pick up a 95-97 sr20 wiring harness however i was also told if i do that it wont connect to whatever has to do with the dash and my dash wont work, true or false? sounds like i have to get a 98 engine harness.
