Thread: Brake and Charge Light Question?

Ok,

So I go to the car wash and when my car is ready I put in the key and my Battery charge light and brake light now stay on? Fluid is on max.

Alt is just over 1 year old.

Any sugestions?

Ok, I found the problem...it was the pos connector to the Alt. The plastic spacer wascracked and in pieces, which made a loose connection, so I removed the plastic spacer and tightened down the nut..solid connection! Started it up and no more problems! Hurray for a cheap fix!
