Thread: Broken wire!

Messing around in my engine bay and found a wire that looks to have been sheared off by something. It connects to the harness just before the clutch cable bracket and the insulation around the wire is green?

I feel stupid but I'm drawing as blank as to what this wire is.. can anyone identify it?
