Same thing happened to me a few years back with my P10. The timing on the intake cam was one tooth off. Actually the 3rd time I put everything together it finally ran fine.

Right when you think you've done everything to the exact T during the install you go to fire it up and the timing it off and you go back and check and it looks fine and then check again and realize it's off ahah.

Pulley can slip. Did you have a screwdriver in #1 cyl?

got it fixed and it runs great now, well sorta. I took it for a test drive, felt great, but then when i was making a left hand turn, the axle broke :/
