Thread: tire smoke

So I just got my new Falken tires on the other day...Tonight some dumbass pulls out in front of me on the highway of course at 75 mph I lock em up and miss him by inches and I mean inches!!! Now my tires have a flat spot on them ...Is this bad ?? and how will it affect the tires?? I'm so mad right now.....

A huge vibration will eventually develop and the tire will wear unevenly.

As far as how long they will last, that is up the air. But chances are, that spot will eventually wear much quicker than the rest and you risk an eventual puncture or worse, a high speed blowout.

do one hell of a burn out and they should go back to normal =]

buy new tires...

At least get them rebalanced.

not too sure a balancing would help a flat spot

I feel for the wheel bearing when it has to deal with a flat spot. =(
