Thread: Noob question ;(....

Am new on the se-r platform, I have a 95 200sx se-r and I notice that when it gets to 4500rpms it doesn't revs any higher or struggles to go higher, averything looks good and it's been fully tuned so idk what's wrong, if you step on the gas it revs up fast all through 1k-4500 then it struggles, I will really appreciate any info on this...

Kk, but wouldn't the maf been messed up throw a code?

MAF. It may not throw a code when dirty, but you will notice. Before I ever tried to clean my stock maf, it would have a spot around 4K rpm where it was sluggish. After a good cleaning, you'll see a big difference.

Make sure you use something mild. They sell maf cleaner at most stores. Throttle body cleaner might be okay. If the solvents are too harsh, they will damage the maf.

I'll do that, I've seen that type of cleaner so I'll get that, thanx again...
