Thread: Rear package tray / rear speaker removal?

The previous owner just lifted up the package tray and set the speakers in the rear of my 1996 200sx, anyone know how to get the rear package tray off? It appears to be glued down or something....I will be taking appart my interior this weekend to replace the headliner and would like to get the rear speakers bolted down and installed properly. Thanks for your help guys!!

Fold seats down, remove the black plastic pieces the surround the trunk opening. From there, there are 4 white clips under the rear tray that you will need to pop off from the bottom (better to lay back into trunk opening and look up on the rear shelf).
