Thread: sr20 possible newb question

So not so long ago I bought my b14 se-r.the thing is it didn't come with the stock motor.now my question Is how do I tell if its a roller rocker
? And do the tune up parts for sr20 are the same? What parts are different and will aftermarket boltons be different? Thanks fellas really appreciate it!

Post a pic of your engine. Bolt ons are the same for the most part.

Open up the valve cover check the rockers to see if they are the roller style.

Also a good indication is the oil tubes that are on the top of the camshafts. If it DOES have the tubes then your motor is probabbly NOT a Roller Rocker

look through the oil cap to see if the oil tubes are visible like in the photos LOUROK posted

Okay I get the RR and non RR part.what about bolt ons and tune up parts?
