Thread: 1.6 to sr20de swap wire harness question

I've did as much research as i can, have all the parts and have done the swap, motor and all the wiring is correct. The problem that I have come across is that the sr20de wiring harness has 3 connectors where there are 4 connectors on my car( originally a 1.6 GA engine) . Whats more is that only 2 of the 3 sr20de connectors plug in, leaving 2 connectors not connected. My car turns over, but the fuel pump isn't working. Can anyone direct me to a wiring diagram? I figure i'm going to have to re-pin the two connectors that aren't connected. Sorry if my post is confusing or if it has been asked already. Thanks

Look in the FSM for wiring. You will have to use the SR engine harness.

One connector is vtc which the SR does not have. Do you have egr? Also you will need to add a knock sensor since your old harness did not have one. Not much else I can help you with.
