Loud clunking noise when turning wheels???
Hey whats up guys have a little problem it started last night in my 200sx..Everytime i turn the wheel I hear this loud clunkingnoise and sounds like some metal isscraping somewhere.. When driving normally I can also hear it faintly? Its coming from boh sides it sounds like but is alot louder on the pass side..I havent even looked at it yet just wanted to get some opinions first.. I amleaning towards axlexs maybe? Let me know what you guys think

Could be your wheel bearings. Jack the car up and turn the wheels yourself and listen for the noise. Check for movement of the wheel also.

My pass side wheels moves in and out so that would be tie rod end? And that looks shot put I dont think that would make all that noise.. I will check for wheel bearing noise in a little and report back my findings

So I turned the wheels by hand no noise.. Turned the steering wheel back and forth no noise.. Power steering fluid was low so I filled it up.. I dont hear no noises while doing these test but havent driven it again yet.. Anything else I should check?

So I just drove the car around and I still hear it..Only seems like when theres pressure on the wheels it makes these noises.. It almost sounds like my springs and shocks?

What do you mean exactly by moving the wheel in and out? Like you can pull on it and push it back onto the hub? That sounds like loose lugnuts or wheel bearing..

Do you have a adjustable FSTB? Mine is on really tight so when I turn (not moving only) it does 1 thong sould which comes from the strut.
