Thread: im so torn lol

ok so i might be trading my 96 b14 se-r. I have just a few engine mods. guy has a 93 se-r with a avenir swap. Needs headliner, and is rattle can grey with black fender. few dents here and there. Greddy blow off balve, 300 miles on swap he says. Im not sure. Im like, im trading my 96 for a 93. Mines got good paint and everything...just needs a bigger turbo engine eventually lol since all i have is headers, g20 ecu, and a pop charger. What u guys think..? theres only a few lil dents on my car. He wants to do a straight across trade. Im thinking if i do pull out my double din dvd player, sub box, sel wheels and tires. Just looking for some advice. i love the classics alot. Im thinking it already has the engine, all i got to do is interior and paint.. Or keep my b14 and just get an engine and have it done..GAhh im so torn lol.

Or theres a spec v 07 for 15k with 10k miles on it. normally they go for 22k still. im like god i cant make up my mind. I only like the new se-r in black, blue, or white with the body kit. It has the kit and its black. sigh....lol. and im sure i could talk them down to 13k for it.

Keep your B14. You really don't know what you're REALLY getting into, with that Classic. Most that have classics don't tend to let them go for a B14, for many reasons. I would think the most obvious would be the suspension, and the fact that the B13 is OBD1, which is better than our B14's with OBD2 standard.

The amount of money you could potentially end up spending on the B13, would exceed what it would cost you to turbocharge your B14.

If the guy is a member of this forum, or the other forum, then your chances are better, that there are minimal issues, or he would have told you. If not, then you really have to take a gamble and determine how truthful he is, regarding the condition of the car. It could have electrical gremlins eating away, for all you know...

lol so could mine.. lol. its funny cuz i know the guy who sold him the car. He ran his bluebird swap hard. This kid got the car and the engine blew on him. So he put the avenir swap in a few weeks ago. The kid he bought it from was a complete ass though, and yes i know ur part of this forum dude but heard what i said. anyway lol.
