heat it up in the sun and then try to put on

Quick question for the Stillen lip guys. I put my lip in and put some 2 screws in on each side. I have some 2-sided tape on the front of the lip, but the tape shows. Does anybody else have this problem?? Does anybody have just the 2 side screws on each side holding the lip on?? Any help appriated

BTW THATS A SEXY COMBO, JDM LUCINO BUMPER + STILLEN LIP. I MIGHT HAVE TO CONSIDER THAT >.<

what do u mean by the tape shows? did u put it on too high? if so, then i did have that problem, it is only noticeable when u look close. the 2nd time around i made sure to put the tape lower. the tape is there to prevent sag. especially the middle part so i would say you need the tape.

alternatively you could have meant, there is a gap between the lip and the bumper, and the tape is not touching the lip. if this is wat you mean, then you may need to adjust how u put it on. u might have put the lip itself too high or too low. hope this helps.

did you have to modify the lip or bumper at all?

Nope, didn't have to do anything.

Just slapped it on the bumper for mock up to see if anything would need to be modified, and it fit like a glove.

The only thing that I worried about, was the center portion of the lip staying secure to the bumper cover, but I trust the shop I dropped the lip/bumper off with for paint, will do a good job at securing the lip properly.
