You can use any short shifter designed for rod-actuated FWD SR20 engines. That means you can use B13, B14 and P10 (P11?) chassis shifters. Greg Vogel at GSpec has one available. There's also the B&M short shifter that lots of people like. If you can find a Pacesetter used that also a good option (they aren't made new anymore).

There's also an easy way to modify your stock shifter to produce very good results.

If you perform some searches on the forum you'll come up with tons of info. Also titling your thread in a more descriptive manner will help ensure the right people look at your thread, and those searching for information in the future will have an easier time.

Cheers!

I wasnt big on them either but I drove my friends car with a short shifter and I decided to get one it makes the shifting really solid unlike the stock shifter.

I forgot about TWM's option. That's another good unit.

Big Jersey, I can't recommend that Ralco RZ eBay Chinese special.

If you're looking to do this on a budget, I recommend you modify your stock shifter. It's not hard at all. The nylon pivot ball on the shifter can be moved down the lever to reduce your throw and raise the shift lever up near your hands (or you can cut the lever shorter if you'd like).

I bought a B&M on a whim as it was cheap and came with a CS shifter bracket (the rear one). I don't mind the stock shifter. I think I may sell both parts and just get the ES front bushing and the rear sway bar bushing mod. It feels great to me.
