Thread: removing slider from sunroof

I just removed my headliner to recover it, trying to figure out how to remove the slider for the sunroof. Help appreciated.

I'd rather not cut it in half to get it out...lol

This is an easy one guys :P

I gave up, just pulled the plastic handle piece off and was able to slide it back far enough into its housing that it is out of view.

use my method...grab with 2 hands, yank down violently, piece falls into your lap and your done

I don't use it, I just wanted it gone... After fighting with it for awhile, I realized that i can just take the fin/handle off of it, and push it way back inside the frame. Viola, it's out of sight.

Give it enough time and they generally fall out on their own accord

I never ever want to own another Nissan with a sunroof...

I wish mine didn't have the sunroof, though so far with 148k on the chassis, it has no problems thankfully. No rust, no leaks, all is well there.

I have it tinted as dark as I could, I believe it is like 2.5% Limo tint. But I hate the slider with a passion..
