Thread: I will be attempting my first CF build at the end of the month :)

A mix of boredom, I don't like the sun coming in when I don't want it to, and I hate look of the slider.

I've also been wanting to test my skills with CF. This seems like an easy thing for a first attempt at it.

My plan is just to do an insert to replace the glass. My sunroof will still be fully functional. I will be removing the slider from under the headliner completely.

If I do good with this, I will move on to doing my A pillars (Those will probably just be a wrap), and then my b/c covers, and so on.

I have it by the roll @ work ......we are a little low right now though , got tons of glass, and amid ( kevlar ) , we are ordering more soon I hope

That was my issue trying to buy it. I don't want to buy a whole roll, I only need small amounts, that stuff isn't cheap either.

yup , we fix stuff on the helos with it , mmmm vacume bagging , it is fun

I plan on doing the a,b and c pillards myself after I tested my glass skills. Please make sure to do a play by play.

Will do. Only part that really has me worried is bubbling.. With fiberglass, I never had to worry about having a few bubbles here and there as it was always getting painted. So we shall see.
