controll arm bushings r no fun
im in the process of installing energy suspension controll arm bushings. all of the bushings were nice and easy to burn out, and the big bushing was nice and easy to install. Now im fighting with banging out the metal ring on the smaller bushing. and boy it is really annoying alot worse then installing motor mounts. just thought i would vent a little. if anyone has any tricks please let me know because its really getting on my nerves.

if you get the negative caster one, it will be worth it.

Drill out the rubber in a circle with like 10 holes and then use a c clamp to press it out. Then you (really carefully) hack out the inner ring being careful not to hurt the arm body. Its tricky and pita but you can also take them to a machine shop.

A bench vise really helps.

Good deal you got it out. I personally used and air chisel. I dont like the whole "burn it out" method because it sucks when you get burning rubber on you and your tools.
