D@mn. Yea, I've been thinking about upgrading the clutch soon. But I still can't make up my mind. I have enough for get either the VE or the DET. Don't know which one to get. They both come pretty close at power ranges(stock). But if I was to go with the VE, I was thinking VE-Turbo!! :P

if it were me, i would go with a DET not just becuase i have one, but becuase ve sure is close tothe same power as the det, but the det is just a turbo and fue upgrade away from 300whp and beyond, turn the boos up and the ve can touch it, now vet is nice, but you gotta gt the motor then all the turbo parts ontop of that, i dono its up to you

I have been having this same issue for a while myself... my timing was originally like over 20*. I lowered it and my car ran like this.. blogging and hard as hell to get moving. Once its over 4K it runs like a champ but in low RPM's its not even funny. And with the a/c on.. I have to ride the hell out of the clutch.

Does your bog? Take a picture of your rotor because I would like to see. I have't done a compression test myself but maybe I should.

Your O2 sensors,(headers, exhaust) and oh yea, the main sensor you HAVE to replace to fix the bogging is your crank sensor. You should def. get the OEM one at your local Nissan dealer. Well, you should get OEM sensors anyways, that is, if you want them to work properly.

But when my car was bogging around 1500-2500 rpm, yea my car was registered under "safety mode" but when it hits higher rpm, it registered to be working fine.

When you say main sensor what are you referring to?

My o2's are new and or less than 1 year old, rear less than 1 week.. So I know its not that.

I was referring to the main problem that if you were to fix it, it will fix your bogging, which is to replace your crank sensor.

The lesson here is always adjust your timing with the proper procedure and a timing light.

Glad to hear it runs great.
