Alright. Thanks everyone! Im gonna try that then we'll see what happens after that. Oh yea, one more thing? Is there a right way to time, when I have them S4's in? I know they are alot bigger than the regular OEM ones.

You are correct, somewhat; old skool racers used to set timing by ear, it can be done on a NA car.


you probably bent your valves doing that :/ might have bad rings also or head gasket

^ So your saying that advancing the timing all the way is gonna have no effect on the motor what so ever... then why doesn't everyone just do this? and the bad rings and head gasket was not including the timing. He's got low compression so something isn't right in his motor.

I noticed you did not mention an upgraded clutch kit nothing puts power to your wheels like an upgraded clutch kit. MY 2cents

I was thinking about this summer, getting a Stage 2 ACT Heavy Duty. What do you guys recommend with this set-up?

Ive noticed everyone uses that clutch set up lol i have a clutch masters carbon kevlar stage 3,when i first drove the the car after it was put in the pedal feel was much softer then i waited til i broke it in to see if its got what it takes and boy it did ive bin very happy with it but beware of this mod the results can be expensive

I drove my car like this to Virginia and back to New York 780miles like this my fifth gear started popping out when i got to VA,Just a true testiment on how great these cars where made SHIFT_dependable
