best way to paint my car?
hey noob here, got a 97 se-r, fading silver paint, with a black primered hood and drivers side fender. im fine with the hood but the fender makes it look like even more crap so i want everything to match. anybody paint their own car that has a good way of goin about this?

I did a bit of a writeup at some point on painting it with a roller. It can come out looking pretty good if you do it right, but it involves like 200 hours of wet sanding, so I don't recommend it. Do some research on paint shops in your area, the quality of a Maaco type job really depends on the person doing the work. You can cut cost by prepping the car yourself.

DONT ROLL PAINT! DID IT TO MY CAR looks good!!! but not worth the work! lol like ^^^^ said macco n prepwork urself i think is the best way to go unlesssss you have a hook up.

Do you know anybody who can do prepwork within Los Angeles area?

We've all seen the grey/baby blue rhino lined Audi. Looked pretty pimp actually. I wouldn't consider it the cheap way out though.
