Thread: What Did You Do To Your B14 Today?

Replaced my front O2 sensor from and extended OEM to an O2 from a Maxima. Wire was the perfect length to reach the O2 housing, wish I did this when I first did the swap.
Then some how I passed inspection with no monitors ready. No complaints with that though.

picked up some nx spindles and if all goes well new bearings pressed in today. next few weeks tires and alignment and new egr gasket. then hopefully ad22vf upgrade and lower...

cleaned it almost all the way out but pretty much how im going to be running it at the track and it weighed in at 2500lbs on the dot, not too shabby for full interior!

Finally got the correct ECU installed in the "$900 Nissan 200SX SE-R with a catch" - it's a '96 and someone had installed a '98+ automatic 1.6 ECU which ran the car alright, but threw a laundry-list of CEL codes. Seems to be good after a beat-run. Car's running a lot better now too, it always had a stutter under certain loads and RPMs. Red-lined it for the first time too, as it would misfire above 5,500RPM with the old [wrong] ECU - presumably not knowing what to do! No CEL but will have to put some miles on her to make sure it doesn't have any legitimate codes.

Some retrofit projectors and some HID's. Turned out pretty good for the first time. May do a write up when I get some time.

Thanks guys. Yeah, everything went pretty smooth. I will try to do a write up this week sometime, look out for it. I have loads of pics. I did learn a couple things that I would apply if I did it again that I can share then.

EDIT: I do see there is a how to for this already, should I still do a new one??

The only snag was the right projector didn't tighten down as good as left one did. Should be okay. And that it was a little harder to align properly with my semi-sloped driveway and single door garage door.
