Got my fob in the mail today. Spent almost 3 hours trying to program it and it wont program. Went to Autozone and it works, put new batteries in it, fuse, and still I have nothing. The alarm even went off for no apparent reason. Anybody got any idea?

When I got mine from ebay I had a hard time trying to program it. It was not the new fob, the problem was with my ignition lock and my old key. How u test this? Go inside your car, close the doors, wait until the dome light turn off, the insert the key into the ignition lock, your dome light has to turn on, if does not turn on then your key is worn or your ignition lock is. NO problem, you don't have to buy a new one, just try that again but this time try to insert your key a little more harder into the ignition lock. The trick to program a new fob is that the car has to feel that the key is been inserted into the ignition lock a least 6 times in 10 seconds. Your hazart lights will flash twice. I tried several times until I got it.

Once you see the hazard lights flash twice, the car is now in program mode. Insert the key back into the ignition and turn it to ACC. Push any button on your keyless entry FOB remote ONCE. This should be done within 5 seconds of turning the key to ACC. You should notice your hazards flash again. If you have another remote to program proceed to step 5, otherwise turn the key off and remove it. The remote should now be programmed.

Good luck!
