I know header wrap is good and all, but i read somewhere that running the wrap may crack your header. As for the location of the "crack" happening, I have no idea.

Yes, it can happen and if the header is mild steel it can deteriorate quicker. I don't mind on on my $90 ebay header. The trade-off is worth it. Now I probably wouldn't wrap the HotShot Gen 3 header on my P10 since it already has the usual crack at the primaries...but who knows, I might get an itch to try it. It helps keep underhood temps down and helps throttle response.

Throttle response? hmmm. I am assuming this is a result to the reduced engine bay temps (since "cooler" air is denser air)? Maybe it benefits those who run a short ram/wai setup more than a cai setup?

The throttle response is probably due to exhaust scavenging. But lowering underhood temps is always a good thing especially if you're running a short ram/WAI set-up.

Also, actually went out and drove the car on the main roads today. Hit a few bumps. Realized my right front strut is seriously leaking. Gonna need me a set of KYBs.
