Thread: What Did You Do To Your B14 Today?

Yah im painting it. I found a place in gresham, they said if the clear isnt peeling 70 bucks to paint and clear her with the prep work of a light sand, and they use ppg paint. Otherwise if they have to do heavy sanding for bad clearcoat (which the clearcoat is not peeling anywhere so should be around 100 bucks i figure, and it will be painted to match my car. All they do is paint body parts, not whole cars. So i know what im doing . And thanks.

Oh and heres what i did today. Put the hood latches on, I want to get the nice what are they called autocatch? ones on instead once shes painted.

^ The knock off's are. Its very hard to find the real ones apparently, there are alot of chineese knockoffs with the name branded on them. There are a few sites that sell the real ones, which are made of metal and not cheap plastic.

i also thought i read somewhere he wasnt impressed with the real ones either..

I just dont like the grenade pinn look on my hood. Pull the pin shes gonna blow.

Those are the ones I had on the wagon..... you can see them in the picture kind of. LOVED them.

Also, the real ones are ABS plastic. The pins are anodized aluminum that they lock into.
