Try the brass reduced mod and get it even tighter.lots of people even with new cables still have issues. I got 4 cables and all of them on max tight was engaging to low. I got the brass reduced and its oh so much better. U also need 2 3/4 conduit nuts. Here's the link from the old forum. http://www.sr20forum.com/general-sr20/88919-97%A2-brass-reducer-clutch-cable-adjustment-tool-9.html

I did it and it worked great, cable feels like it did 6 years ago. I have a new clutch in there to and before it was giving me issues. The reduced is 4 bucks in the plumbing department of home depot, and the conduit nuts are like 1 buck for 2 which is all u need.

Sweet I'll try that, I have my new clutch already but don't have the time to do it, I notice that my current clutch is not ao bad I mean my car pills even in 2nd gear when if my clutch was bad it wouldn't do it, so I'll try this mod and see how my car responds to that...

Got bored, pulled off my broken back plastic inner tail peice, and got rid of the emblem. Did a half ass job, but thats cuz i need a new one anyway. I like the look, so once i get a new inner tail peice, ill be de embleming it as well. And got my trunk lock to finally work with the key.
