Ohh no that's cool What ever you like. I personally think it's over kill to have it up that high. Plus up north you really don't need that much cooling. Down south yea because of the humidity and temps.

Exactly! Seriously though, remove that weather stripping and it will help even more. Granted it is not ideal for AERO benefits but it will help cooling.

I threw a bunch of parts in the back of the B14 while it sits on jack stands.... And I washed the new car so it is nice and clean for the rainy weather today...

To some... I just don't think you need that much. It's kinda overkill. You will get more outer weather material in there then needed. Dirt...leaves..ect with that much space. Like Wes said about the weather strip is usually the way to go. Or 1/4" to 1/2 spacer above the weather strip if it's still there.

More than that... you might as well take the hood off.

Yea... so there goes my idea. But I still need to go get new wash supplies. Left all mine in Fl with out even thinking.
