Thread: What Did You Do To Your B14 Today?

I don't like it to be honest. I'll be surprised if it holds up on the highway. I like the way mine is completely sealed all the way around. Its up to you though. I'll have new pics of mine up on thursday...good pics

It is sealed on the side with the brackets that bolt on. I like how it goes across the whole window, i just dont like the way it lines up with the top of the window. Now if i cut it to line up with the window i think that would be way way better. Im just to lazy at this point, im goign to test how it holds up. I pulled on it pretty good and it didnt budge.

Truthfully after lookin more, if i cut it and a small rounded angle to match the window, it woudl fit perfectly. Its jsut going to be a pain in the ass pulling it back off.

It looks soo much like a spoiler though. That plus there is space between it and the glass on both sides so wind is gonna lift on it 24/7

The air holes are there for a reason to let wind more go through it. The sides are also rounded. I just took it on the freeway at 90 and had no issues, didnt budge a bracket a inch. Think here in a few weeks im goign to pull it off again and line it up, take a razer blade trace the outline and cut it so it matches perfectly. If i keep from being lazy and do it. I love how it looks from a distance, cuz just like the rest of my car, 10 feet away it looks good, 2 feet looks like SHIT lol. Well not like shit but it looks better from 10ft away.

I wouldn't pull it off if I were you... It will NEVER be the same again. I have a huge roll o the exact 3m molding tape and tried to redo a buddies civic and a buddies cavalier. Theres nothing that can compare to the original material's adhesion characteristics.

Lol trust me, i know how to do it. My air dam on my 71 510 was 3md on, and ive taken it off and on repeatedly over the years and its stayed on at 125 mph. I use 3m tape alot and know some secrets to increase the adhesion. No matter what i got this one for 25 bucks, the guy is refunding me a big chunk for the pictures and stuff so.
