The shape of those mirrors look so much better than the USDM non folding ones.
However,I never really understood the JDM folding mirror thing.
There was a set on my B13 when I got it,but I sold them immediately and put usdm on.

2 reasons....the first one being the main annoyance...maybe the B14 are different, but doubt it.

1.)You cant see shit out of them since they are made for a LHD car.The angles are all off,and theres not enough adjustment to see without spot mirrors on them. When driving and looking out the drivers side mirror you are looking at yourself,on the passender side you are looking at trees off the side of the shoulder..LOL
2.)Once the novelty of folding them wears off ,you end up leaving them out all the time. Then if you want to put a cover on the car or want to fold them in for any reason....you gotta get in the car ,turn it on,and fold them in.They will just break off if you try to fold them by hand or the hit something....although ,I guess its an upgrade to have them fold at all, since the B14 USDM ones are fixed and do not fold like the B13.

I guess you could have them fold in and out with your door locks /alarm,but that may shorten the life of the motors signifigantly.

Its nice to have because i have to go downtown and park on the street ALOT lol, was always scared shitless someone would take off my mirror. I got some pretty good adjustment on the driverrs and passenger side ones that seems to cover pretty good.

Left axle replacement, tie rod end replacement, ball joint replacement, replaced stock brakes for AD22 brake set-up thanks to chineseboi, and replaced front brake lines with stainless steel. And to think, this is just the beginning...

The front suspension was making a loud knocking sound. At first I thought it was the strut bearing. The outer tie rod ends needed to be change too. I went to AutoZone and bought the tie rods and the strut bearing(which they dont sell separately from the strut mounts) about $72 for two kits plus $38 for both tie rods.

After I took everything apart and put it back in, went for a ride and guess what? They damm sound still was there. At this point I was mad. I looked under the car, I saw one of the sway bar bushing was some what worn out. I replaced that too, but no luck. This time went back to the auto part and got a sway bar link kit for $18. When I went to take the old one from the car, the nut that hold it to the sway bar was loose . Put the new one in and problem solved, no more noise. Now it needs aligment, with will cost me out about another $60.

Point to this story, I just wasted almost $200 for a "loose nut", hahaha!

Well, the car really needed new strut bearings and tie rods but I was planning to do that some months from now when I get $ to do it. Right now I got broke

I could have sworn I had the correct wheel in this B14, I guess not. I changed the sensor and that did nothing for me.

I picked up this at the junk yard(picture below) this weekend for $8.10, and I have a bad B14 ECU, so ill be making a jumper harness. It would actually cost me the same to fix the cell either way another flywheel or jumper. This way actually I wont have as much down time..

sell my fidanza and buy the correct one.. same price no money spent
or
make the jumper harness that I have $8.10 invested and swap ECUs. sell my Calum to buy another. same price no money spent, also when the time comes ill have more ECU options.

its now just time game seeing as how i shuldnt have to spend any money...
