Thread: Advice: Windshield Washer Pump

So my pump is dead, and I have just sent the money to a wonderful forum member for a replacement. Can anyone give me some details on exactly what needs to be removed to get to it, or even a how-to would be great and pics appreciated if someone can swing it :P

Also, I'm just assuming the one I have is dead, I could not find a fuse similarly labeled, does anyone know which/where the fuse is??

I'm still new to this car for the most part, so any help is appreciated, I'd rather not just start tearing everything apart trying to get to it if someone can step by step me through it. Thanks.

From what I remember its fairly simple to remove jack up the car, loosen the splash guard and you will see the reservoir and a little black sensor on it. Disconnect that sensor and disconnect the line that goes to the sprayers. Then all that left is accouple of 10mm bolts and it drops right out. However dont take me word for word because I removed mine a while ago and this process might not be 100% accurate, but you will figure it out its simple.
