Thread: Afc Neo

Do any of you guys run the AFC NEO? I tried to install one the other day did everything right, checked my wiring 4 times and the car doesnt accept the NEO.

The Neo doesnt see RPM, or MAF input or output. But it does see TPS.

Also with the NEO spliced into pin 3 for RPM the Rpms dont read on the cluster. un splice the neo and the cluster works fine.

With the MAF wires spliced in the car runs rough and dies, with them un spliced car runs mint.

I have heard B14s dont like neos and you need to un a AFC 1 or 2 is this true?

Honda. So I don't know if it's a issue with my wiring or the aFC or just comparability.

I used the diagram on here that was in the how to thread. And the diagram from the neo instruction manuel.

Im using one in mine. No issues. How are you doing your connections?

I used the Neo instructions and a FSM pinout diagram. I would recheck your connections and make sure you do the sensor calibration to the tee before you start the car.

And sensor calibration? I dont think this would affect the RPMS on the cluster not to show.

What pin did you use for RPM was it #3? Man i really hope i can get this AFC to work in the car!
