odometer not working
anyone know how to fix? i got a new cluster and it doesnt work

so it wasn't working before so you got a new one and it still doesn't work? check the clip in the back of the cluster might not be sitting right or one of the wires in the dash harness might be grounded somewhere is my guess. had a similar problem and i swapped the harness and it was fine. just a thought tho

Check the tranny housing into where it clips into the speed sensor, might be disconnected.

it might just be a bad speedo, put your old one back in and see if that works.

was working when until i swapped clusters.. now it doesnt move.

i wonder how difficult would it be to swap the odometer?

the mph works just fine it just the numbers that arent moving at all

when i swapped clusters (just from 1.6 w/tach to 1.6 w/o tach i just removed the few screws that hold the speedo/odometer assembly and swapped it. been working perfect ever since

if it's just the numbers that don't move then there might be something loose. sometimes the crank thing that spins the numbers gets nudged out. but swaping just that part isn't that hard tho i saw a write up online heres a link How to Repair Your Broken Odometer

I had the same problem on my b14 the mph worked fine but the odometer didnt work so my friend swapped odometeres and it worked fine after that
