Possible to correct B14's rear toe without beam bending?
Just curious...

Cuz i don't think there's anyone over here who does beam bending. Driving to CA and back would cost more than the actual bending.. ha.

Not many do it. I dont know why, it is an easy process, just need a skilled worker with alignments to accomplish it.

I've done allignments are cars with a rear beam, when they were out of adjustment, the machine would reccomend shims that looked like the fit in behinds the hub where the bearing bolts on. As far as I know nissan doesn't have bearings that bolt on, they're all press in. I never attempted to put these shims in because most of the time it was a grandma's car and the way they were out of allignment wouldn't effect tire wear, and when you'd sit in it they go into spec.

Cant shim the B14, you have to get it bent.

So there's literally no place for shims? not even between the beam and the 'rear' axle' or something?

I wish i knew someone in the pacific northwest who could do this. ergh.

Back in the day Ive heard people cutting the beam behind the hub and adding in "shims" too get the effect of bending the beam. But I think its cost prohibitive, really any frame shop should be able to do it but most likely wont in case of a mess up.

buy junkyard rears and bend them yourself, sell them for money. not a bad way to making money, just super expensive to ship something like that. it is an odd shape.
