where to find a driver side 1/4 panel
wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction, i need the driver side rear 1/4 from the gas door to the trunk/tail light area, one it seems like one big part that goes all the way over the roof of the car, doesn't seem to have a seam to it anywhere. also are there any cheap websites or someone that would want me to sell me this lol, and if i have to call a junk yard what should i ask for cause most of the yards around me suck so i will have to call out of town for it, thanx

It's basically one huge part that's welded in. The panel itself basically needs to be precisely cut off the car and welded on to yours.

This could cost thousands of dollars to do , any body shop would tell ya that.. it would be cheaper just to buy another 200sx or g20.

You can order the rear quarter panel from the dealer. Gonna run you about 400-500 a side.

i agree would be your only choice to take like a portable saws-all and then weld one in, but like neptronix said would probably be cheapper to buy whole car and pain in the ass to do it with out buying the car. good luck tho man

Haha, this has plagued me for years. My passenger side wheel well is totally rusted out, hard core, balls to the wallz.

I was told that the entire panel needs replaced as mentioned above, and it is worth from low $1,500 to $3,000.

That is a new car, imho. So I have continued to drive the car for six years, watch it get worse, beat the crap out of it, and make it faster and handle better while it looks crappy from 1/4 of the view. Oh well! I like it.

i actually was looking into a 4 door sentra to swap all the stuff out of the se-r into cause i only paid 500 for the car to begin with,
i can weld a new quarter on myself i just gotta buy one which i will cost what i paid for the car lol, for now i have just rigged the area around the tail light up with some fiberglass and bondo until i can weld in a new piece it looks way better but its not right, but it just bothers me cause i want it to be pretty much perfect

There is a 95% chance it is going to look *super* ghetto and you'll be unhappy with it if you weld it in. I believe the only way to make this look proper is to remove the entire rear/mid section of the car's shell, which is why the job costs $$$$.

Trust me when i say doing the work yourself isn't even worth it, lol..

well i solved my problem i bought a base model 200sx with a good body for $200 , which beats the hell out of paying $400-600 for a new quarter and dealing with putting it on, now i have to swap all the ga crap out for the ser stuff, yay
