Thread: Need moral support / advice: replacing rear engine mount.

Yo. Just thought i'd follow up.

This was indeed really easy. I pushed the motor up about 2 inches by the oil pan, and when i took the crossmember off, the motor didn't even slouch downward! i was able to put the crossmember back into place without any drama either. Not bad!

I've discovered working on cars is as you describe "indeed really easy"(although I wouldn't describe everything as 'really easy', but not overly difficult), but it takes a lot of time and the right tools. It can also be very frustrating at times. Other than that, it's turning a wrench pretty much.
