Thread: No water?

so i refilled my windshield wiper resovoir decided to give it a go after replacing the amp but the liquid doesnt come out.

i dont know what could be the issue is there some sort of pump that shoots the water out or something?

There is a pump attached to the reservoir, just under the bumpercover, passenger side corner.

i see from the rockauto website the part # are same for ga16 and sr20i wonder how hard is it to replace.

It´s not too hard. You must remove 3 screws IIRC that hold the tank to the frame, and then pull the pump plug and hose. You will have to access it from underneath the bumper.

Not difficult, set of normal tools and a jack/stand will do the trick. Might need to remove the splashguard.

BTW it's not always the pump. Sometimes the nozzles get clogged. This happens when people put tap water in the reservoir, eventually you'll get a mineral buildup in the nozzles that way.

Might wanna go poke them out with a thumbtack or somethin'
