Thread: Missing vac hose?

What is this thing? Something has to go there right? I can't find any loose hoses anywhere. Is that just a extra tube? I do have a ses light, code says it's the neutral possition switch. My car is a 98 SE-R, maybe someone can go and check their car?

I have a loose hose like that also. I believe it is some sort of vent valve for the fuel system carbon canister. This was present on a few other cars i owned also.

I was thinking too that could be some kind of vent. Yeah what's up with that damn P1706? I have the new sensor right here, I'm just really lazy right now. Got to get my car smog tested for registration really soon.
