Thread: 98 se-r cluster on 95?

does the cluster just connect and go? im talkin about the 98 one with white faces on a 95 se-r.. ?

what you could do is swap the actual faces and that work just be carefull around the needles .

Everything plugs up Sir! I put the white 98 into my 95 awhile back. Except if you have alarm, some white face does not have the little red clown nose.

works fine for me but i have a 96

i bought one mint with very low miles.. like insane low.

When i tried this a few years back the car RPM gauge would move but the fuel , temp and MPH would not work at all .

I purchase the cluster from U pull it a while back , could have been the cluster was damaged , but it did not work for me at the time.

cluster worked fine but you must transfer lil beige box on back of the original cluster to the white faced one.. remove one screw and screw it onto same mounting point on white faced cluster. thats it. works fine and has security light

just swapped my cluster from a 98 SE-R to my 96 se, works fine, as some one else before me said all i had to do is transfer the beige box onto the backside of the cluster. havent driven it yet, let it idle for 1 min, seems fine, only paid $20 for mine at u-pullit mint condition... awesome!
