Sounds like it's either a bad switch or your wiper motor isn't grounded.

My guess is it would be in the motor assembly since it should return to "home" position when power from the switch is off. I might be able to test this. I will also look in the FSM.

It's called the window wiper amp.
Its a little black box (1'X2') that located behind the glove box held up by one screw.
Easy fix.

Just checked the schematics in the FSM and there is a Intermittent Wiper Amplifier that controls the motor. All it shows for the motor is a on off switch and the low & high. The wiper switch is just that and nothing more. For the motor is shows a 6 pin plug and the Amplifier it shows an 8 pin plug. it does not say where it is in any of the diagrams.

Amplifier:
pin 1 Light Blue/Yellow
pin 2 Brown
pin 3 Black
pin 4 Empty
pin 5 Light Green
pin 6 Pink
pin 7 Orange
pin 8 Empty

Both of my 200's did that one was the switch and the other still does it I replaced everything but the motor so far. I wrote a thread about it a couple of months ago but no one responded

I had an issue with my 200sx SE, same problem. Was the switch. The intermittent function didn't work, either.

More then likely a bad parking switch inside the motor
