Stupid question....
Im putting an avenir motor in my 95 200sx and the turbo outlet pipe hits the crossmember. Can I take the outlet pipe off, rotate it, and remount it sideways to clear the crossmember? ...as in just turn it sideways toward the passenger side....

You should be able to, as long as the bolts align. Though you might have to do some weird piping to get around that too.

Can you snap a pic so that we can see what you're working with? There are other options as far as compressor outlets are concerned. Some choose the Z32 (300ZXTT) outlet that has a 90 degree bend on it.

I really cant...for some reason my phone is not sending pictures right now...when I really need to. Its just the compressor outlet runs into the crossmember across from the front mount. Ill try my idea on Tues when I get a day off again. It should work because its a triangle with a circle on the inside so rotating the outlet pipe shouldnt affect anything.

Theres a pic from a website and the outlet pipe there hit right on the crossmember. Now, theres the 3 bolts that hold it onto the turbo, so I think just turning it more and remounting it would work....it will prob be pointing up though lmao

Looks like something thats going to have to be fabricated , a decent welder should be able to build a strait outlet pretty quickly ...

....You might be able to rotate the outlet, just have to give it a try !

If rotating wont work then Id just go ahead and make a new pipe or modify that one. I really dont want to reclock the turbo. Would increasing the angle of the pipe have any negative effects on power?

Andreas Miko made it work, he had to cut and reweld the cross member though.

You can get one of these sucks too

$30?! I can modify the one Ive got for free! I wanted to avoid cutting up the crossmember myself.
