Thread: bubble tail lights????

well i really like the newer tail lights over the stock 96 tail lights was woundering if the are a direct swap?? if so does anyone have some for sale with the center piece

I found mine in a junkyard.pain in the ass to find.direct swap tho.if u go2 a junkyard 2 find them u might have 2 buy the trunk lid like I had 2 but diff states different stips.

why did you have to get a diff trunk? i wish i could find one with out the wing on the back!!!

A lot of places won't sell trunk lights without buying the whole trunk.

Get a set from a part out on here or the other forum. I got mine for $88 shipped. I tinted them out and painted the trim to match. Came out niiice!

They are direct bolt on. Check ebay sometimes they have a couple sets laying around.

what color is the car. I had a 98 and really didn't like it... looked too... well not aggressive. What I do like is the insert between the reverse lights is black flat.

What I don't like from the 95-97 is that piece is colormatched to the car. What I would do is paint it black or find one from a 98. here's my old 98 with non bubble tails. I like it with the black center garnish that came factory
