Hey, I had the same thing happened to me, except I have an SR powered B14. I launched mines exactly how you described yours too, and then nothing happens. The car doesn't move but it does rev up and the MPH move too.
Your problem sir, is that you broke an axle. Possibly the one going into your tranny, which would be on the passenger side. Check it out, and get back to me. I'm pretty sure I'm right. But good luck either way.
