Broken clutch arm :(
i have a serious crack in my clutch arm, right near the pivot point (1/4 inch from it) it is not fully disconnected, but i can not disengage. is there any chance of repairing this without removing the trans? can it be welded - braced for more rigidity?

Can be welded yes without removing anything. (Might want to disconnect the ECU before you weld.)

this just happened to me the exact way. welded mine up but i opened the tranny and disconnected the TO bearing so i could slide the lever arm up higher so my welder could get beneath the crack. If your gonna do it do it right

Take the bolts and mount off and seperate it from the motor. Then the bellhousing is all open

This is a common problem on B14's. The only real way to fix it is to replace it with a B13 arm or the newer arm that nissan revised. My boy welded his also and it held up fine until it cracked again...
