Clutch cable install?
I took out my old clutch cable. Easy to do from the clutch release lever, but the hard part is from the clutch pedal. I did it by feeling, not looking so i dont know where the cable attaches to the clutch pedal. Anyone know?
I see there is a spring and by feeling around I dont feel any hook for the cable to attach to.
I tried to find it for about 30 mins but if youve ever done it you know you have to be in a very uncomfortable position to reach.

I know there is a write up in the how too's section on this forum and the other one. I just bought a cable myself and will be doing the install. I have read the how too a few times but don't remember enough to tell you anything without reading up.

I guess I could go outside with a flashlight and find out...

Yes it's a hook way at the top of the lever that you need to get the opening of the cable around.
That's a B13 by the way, but I don't see yours being any different.

Yup. Sort of a PITA for anyone with wide hands and short fingers. Get your girlfriend to help do that part. Don't connect it to the trans lever til AFTER you get it connected at the pedal. Good luck.

It's more like a half circle cut out of it.
Just slip the rectangular eye piece of the cable up and over the end of the lever and you'll be all set. It should put itself into position once you pull the other side tight.

If you have a girl do it make sure she doesn't move the pedal as it is spring loaded and will chrush a finger or two. Happened to me, hurts like f*ck if you catch the tip of your finger.

The pedal caught my hands a few times but I got it. I just laid upside down in my seat with my head on the floor by the pedals lol. Made it real easy.

Bro take your bottm panel and side panel off so its easier to reach the top of the hook.on the left top of the pedal. Connect that first b4 attaching to the transmission.attach the cable to the bracket by the firewall. Run the cable between the 2 hoses connect to the bracket .take a pry bar and pry the fork forward and attach to tranny
