Thread: HELP!! B-14 starter prob.

one night I went to start the car after replacing the starter a few weeks before, it made a grinding sound then the starter began to spin but no crank, the only way to stop it is to disconnect the battery, but when ever it gets reconnected the starter whirls up again .


Grounds, connections and fuses have been checked..

Did you replace it with an OEM one or Reman from Autozone, Advance Auto, etc.?

If reman, you probably got a lemon, well all of the remans are lemans but they last a year usually...
