question about radiator and brake upgrade
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

does it matter if i use a MISHIMOTO or koyo radiator for the b14. i am looking at some on ebay. is there somewhere i can source these radiators at a good price with fans. i intenet to use with a sr20det stock application and then to upgrade for about 400hp. while i am on it can some one suggest brake upgrade also for back and front and give details where to get this stuff

as far as brakes a simple upgrade would be the NX2K AD22s, and for a radiatior another simple upgrade would be the NX duel core rad

I just did brakes.

Good pads will be about $60 shipped for the fronts.
Rotors will be about $70 shipped for the fronts.
Re-Man NX2k calipers will cost about $120

So total price is about $250 for front brakes. Rear brakes don't need to be 'upgraded' per say, but just replaced. People who do upgrade the rears go w/maxima rears.

Koyo would be the best cooling option, but it can take up quite a bit of space in your engine bay.

For starters, look in the classifieds for NX2K part outs or go down to your local (or internet) auto parts chain and purchase the parts.

if you do the ad22 brake conversion i recommend you install ss lines, gives a firmer pedal . the larger calipers tend to make it spongy kinda without ss lines. or get a altima se mc

Make sure whatever Rad you get that it has 2 inch inlets and outlets. Anything less is no good

For some reason I have this predisposition about bad things from Mishimoto, although I can't for the life of me remember why!
