Thread: Carbon Fiber

Does anyone remember the good ole days when finding carbon fiber trunks and fenders was an easy thing to do? Now it seems the only thing I can find is just hoods. There used to be a spot out of Washington called Syndicate Kustoms that made a bunch of things for our cars but it seems theyre gone to. Can anyone give me some ideas on where to track down something other that a hood?

yea unfortunatly , the B14 got some love a while back,
syndicate made nice parts with good buil quality. but they are gone.

so is Nis-nacks out of hawaii. they too had a few good parts.

hoods and mirrors is about all you can get now. unless you get a shop to make you one off pieces.

Good luck with your search I have been searching 3 years and only seen 2 trunks pop up from random members. Money was a issue 1st time and the other time I don't want to talk about it. You need xtream luck to find one of those or a very big wallet.

Right now Im hoarding all my old SK stuff. Trunk, side skirts, fenders, eye lids, spoiler and rear bumper garnishes. I just like to make people appreciate when they actually have someone who does make parts.

HEHE I have an SK trunk, and one off air bag delete, radio delete, as well as delete plate for the cruise/dimmer/mirror switch plate.

I'd sell the CF trunk for $1,500 if anybody wants it

I have that airbag delete as well as the sunroof replacement panel. 1500 is steep man lol.

thats cause I don't want to sell it LMAO.... I figured I'd post an unreasonable amount so no one decided to try and kick the tires.

it would be great to find a fabricator and replicate those pieces.

i know of a place down here in florida that does good fiberglass work, ideally our parts should be abs plastic or similar.

I had a SK lip a while back and a 2x4 piece of **** wood on I 95 ripped it off and destroyed it , ever since then i could never replace it.
