Thread: anyone ever use the ebay intercooler piping?

my plans are for to go turbo by the end of the summer, so i want to start collecting parts. i have my intercooler already picked out (thanks Dre) but now i need to find my 2.5 piping. i talked to an ebay seller that will put together a complete set-up for with the intercooler of choice and piping. Has anyone ever got their piping from an intercooler kit on ebay?

here are my questions?
1. does the piping fit?
2. how are the adjustments?
3. any extra pieces of piping going to be needed? etc etc. questions like that.

I bought two universal piping kits. One 2" and one 2.5" kit, and then some cutting and everything fit just fine. The only downside to cutting was that the ends weren't rolled, so I ended up just having a local shop weld it all up to minimize couplers.

I used an eBay 2.5" universal kit. Cut it to fit my needs and everything worked out well. No complaints here and I recommend it to others. I'm also using the same intercooler you're buying.
